A new name for a new season
For years, Bridgeport Central Baptist Church faithfully served this community through worship, outreach, and Gospel proclamation. Generations worshiped within these walls, welcomed visitors, and were a light to their neighbors.
As we become Damascus Road Indy, we do so with deep respect for that legacy. This isn't about forgetting the past. It's about carrying the mission forward. The name reflects transformation and calling, drawn from Acts 9 and the conversion of Saul into Paul. We believe God still transforms lives and calls people into Gospel mission today.
We're building more than a church service. We're building a church home and a strong Gospel presence in this community.
